About Us

We are Helen, Lisa and Janet who are three twenty-somethings who were born and bred in Manchester. We are the third generation of women restaurateurs following in the footsteps of our amazing grandmother, Lily Kwok and beautiful mother Mabel. There is a Chinese saying "To the ruler, the people are Heaven, to the people food is Heaven".

The best way to describe us would be – passionate about food, passionate about people and passionate about business.

We are young, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic about food and entertainment and have an understanding of Chinese culture. Our values and beliefs revolve around being the next generation to make an impact and bringing the best of both worlds together.

The creators of this phenomenon are:

Helen – Exceptionally bright, always happy, and shines under pressure. She is the business force behind this concept, bringing it from page to reality.

Lisa – Driven, Entrepreneurial and Connoisseur. She will be the creative influence, and operational head having run a successful shop for several years, she is now ready to expand and introduce new exciting dishes, never created before.

Janet – Trendy, Sociable and Practical. She will seek out the best features from restaurants and bars and implement them in our exciting new venture
